ABSTRACT:
Self-esteem is a personal opinion of oneself and is shaped by individuals’ relationships with others, experiences, and accomplishments in life. A Cross Sectional Descriptive Research Design was used for the study. The study was conducted on 250 Nursing Students of selected Nursing Institutions of Noida who were selected using Probability Simple Random Sampling technique. Modified Rosenberg Self-esteem scale consist of 25 items was used to assess the level of self-esteem among Nursing Students. The result shows that majority of the Nursing Students i.e. 59.2% have moderate level of self-esteem and 23.6% of the Nursing Students have high level of self-esteem. There was a significant association between two selected demographic variables i.e. gender and monthly family income of the Nursing Students with their level of self-esteem.
