ABSTRACT:
A planned teaching program was carried out to assess the B.Sc nursing 3rd year student of selected college of nursing Satna (M.P.). To evaluate knowledge regarding biomedical waste management. The sample consist of 40 B.Sc nursing 3rd year student in Nishad College of Nursing and Allied Science Satna (M.P.). The objectives were achieved through the findings .The finding showed the demographic variable has a significant description of pre-test score average 34(85%), good 6(15%), excellent 0(0%) and post test knowledge score average 0 (0%), good 15(38%), excellent 25(62%) regarding biomedical waste management among B.Scnursing 3rd year student.The knowledge score were obtained pre test knowledge score mean is 21.07 and standard deviation 3.08 and post test knowledge score mean is 30.65 and standard deviation 2.96 shows gaining of knowledge by planned teaching program. It was summarized after study finding the socio demographic variable greatly affect the knowledge of B.Sc nursing 3rdyear student regarding biomedicalwaste management.
