ABSTRACT:
Background: Global warming is a worldwide environmental problem by which there is an abnormal increase to the level of temperature, particularly in a natural environment. Objective: To assess the knowledge regarding global warming and its impacts on health among people of unjha city. to evaluate the effectiveness of planned teaching programme on knowledge regarding global warming and its impacts on health. To find out association between Pre test knowledge score with their demographic variable. Material and Methods: The data were collected from 50 middle adults were selected by using non probability convenient sampling technique. Pre-experimental one group pre test post test design was used. Structured knowledge Questionnarie was used to assess the level of knowledge. Results: During pre test, the mean score of level of knowledge was 3.84 and the standard deviation was 1.64. During post test, the mean score of level of knowledge was 12.16 and the standard deviation was 4.99. ‘t’ test value is 9.84. There was no significant association between the knowledge and selected demographic variables. Conclusion: After planned teaching programme middle adults people have improve the knowledge. The planned teaching programme is an effective technique in inducing the knowledge level of middle adults people regarding rGlobal Warming and Its Impact on Health.
